Took you back to our old neighborhood where Naomi spent the first year and few months of her life. Visiting the park there was always a treat for us, but revisiting pictures of Naomi then and seeing how much she's grown is just remarkable. Being there with both of you now stirs up so many feelings. Such a magical journey raising you two. I hope these memories are burned into your minds forever.

Happy Birthday to the one and only @fin_yohannes who’s had my back since we were 10! Love you more than I can express sissy and so thankful for your friendship. Hope this year brings you everything you desire sprinkled in with a few visits from me! 💕

Lots of big questions came from Naomi the day before the march. She doesn’t watch TV other than streamed shows so not aware of the whole picture but we talked ahead of time about the cause without the harsh details. It was really hard to talk about this stuff with a six year old. I wish we could keep them in their magical childhood bubble forever but that’s not realistic. That said, I’m so glad they got to experience the magic of people coming together today to impact change ✊ #marchforourlives #strongertogether
